| Welcome to
Raincoast Cats Maine Coons, a TICA and
CFA registered Cattery. We are
located in Langley, British Columbia, Canada (near Vancouver) in the
beautiful Pacific Northwest - a temperate rainforest region. We are a
small cattery with 1 or 2 litters per year. We have been showing and breeding Maine Coons since December 2001. Our cats are part of our family. Kittens are 
raised "underfoot" and begin to be socialized from day one.
After their first vaccination they have the run of the house! While show
conformation is important, we strive to breed for excellent health and
temperament first. Our breeding kitties are x-rayed for hip dysplasia
(HD) and screened for Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM). If there is
evidence of either condition, the cat is removed from the breeding
program and spayed or neutered. |
